Congratulations to all dancers invited to the 2019-2020 Roswell Dance Theatre Ballet, PreProfessional, Modern, and Acro Companies, as well as those invited to the Preparatory Dance Program (PDP). Thank you to all dancers who auditioned!
UNDERSTANDING YOUR COMPANY ASSIGNMENT
The RDT Ballet Company roster is organized by levels, from 1 to 14. Dance classes will include multiple levels – an updated company schedule will be available in the next few weeks. All company dancers will be re-evaluated when they return in August and adjustments to placement may be made at that time.
The RDT PreProfessional Company roster only includes the names of the dancers invited to PrePro, in alphabetical order. PrePro dancers will be re-evaluated in August and levels assigned before the beginning of the regular dance season begins.
The Preparatory Dance Program (PDP) roster includes the names of younger dancers invited to participate in this training opportunity. Focused classes help them develop and refine their skills and technique. PDP participation is available to dancers for one year.
The RDT Modern Company rosters are organized in three levels, Junior, Senior and Principal.
The RDT Acrobatics Company roster includes all students invited to participate in this exciting inaugural season. The skills and needs of all students will be addressed within the class curriculum.

***If the Company Contracts and Membership Fees are not received by July 1, 2019, the offer to participate in any company is revoked including participation in The Nutcracker.***

IMPORTANT UPDATED SUMMER INFO!
HUGS Choreographers will hold rehearsals with their casts during the week of July 29. There are not any TYSOD or RDT camps scheduled for that week, so it will be a great time to book a studio and get to work creating the amazing original works that will become this years’ HUGS showcase in September.
Nutcracker Bootcamp begins on August 5 for RDT Ballet Company Levels 1-14 and Modern Company all levels. This 4-week session allows RDT faculty to take another look at all the dancers and re-evaluate any placements that need to be adjusted. Dancers will also be assigned their Nutcracker roles and begin rehearsing their parts. It is a great time for everyone to reconnect and start getting excited for this year’s production of The Nutcracker.
Pointe Shoe Fittings will be scheduled with Mrs. Tracey and Mrs. Mary in August for RDT Levels 1 & 2 and PDP dancers. Level 1 & 2 and PDP dancers will begin pointe in September.
