UNDERSTANDING YOUR COMPANY ASSIGNMENT
***Review the complete 2023-2024 RDT Company Class Schedule.***
The RDT Ballet Company roster is organized by levels, from 1 to 14. Dance classes can include multiple levels. All company dancers are placed in levels as of the May audition and will be re-evaluated when they return in August – adjustments to placement may be made at that time.
Introductory levels of the Ballet Company include the Preparatory Dance Program (PDP) and Apprentice levels. Rosters for these levels includes the names of younger dancers invited to participate in these training opportunities. Focused classes help these students develop and refine their skills and technique.
The RDT Movement Collective rosters are organized into five levels: Premiere, Ensemble, Swing, Principal and Elite.
The RDT PreProfessional Company roster only includes the names of the dancers invited to PrePro, in alphabetical order. PrePro dancers will be re-evaluated in August and levels assigned before the beginning of the regular dance season begins.

IMPORTANT- SUMMER INFO:
Keep dancing this summer! RDT Summer Intensives are a great way to stay in shape this summer, and during the weeks when we do not offer an intensive, we will have a drop-in ballet class M, W, and F morning from 9-10:30. Please see the SUMMER page for more info – we hope to see you in the studio!
Boot camp begins on July 31 for all RDT Company members in all Ballet and MoCo levels. This 4-week session allows RDT faculty to take another look at all the dancers and re-evaluate any placements that need to be adjusted. Dancers will also be assigned their Nutcracker roles and begin rehearsing their parts. It is a great time for everyone to reconnect and start getting excited for this year’s production of The Nutcracker.
