04 Sep The TYSOD New Studio is OPEN

Tolbert Yilmaz School of Dance celebrated the Grand Opening of its new state-of-the-art dance facility at 601 Houze Way in Roswell late last month. Former, current, and future dance families and members of the local community enjoyed the all-day open house event, taking self-guided studio tours throughout the new facility, participating in carnival styles games, collecting giveaways, grabbing snacks at on-site food trucks, and connecting with faculty and friends before the beginning of the new dance season.

The celebration kicked off with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Artistic Director and Founder Nancy Tolbert Yilmaz and Associate Director Mary Lynn Taylor and their families cut the ribbon to officially open the new studio space for the hundreds of registered dancers who would begin classes September 8.

Now that classes are in full swing, students have access to spacious custom-built studios with top quality sprung floors, fantastic natural light, cutting edge technology, an on-site physical therapy suite, expansive study area, in-house costume shop, and rooftop lounge. The largest studio at the facility doubles as an on-site performance space, an advantage for dancers as they can create, rehearse and perform in shows throughout the year.
