Our season began September 2 and will culminate in May with 12 performances showcasing students in from our many Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Tap, Musical Theatre, Acrobatics, and Aerial Silks classes. Our Recital shows will be held at the Roswell Cultural Arts Center and are only open to our dance families. When the curtain closes on the last recital, we will take a short break before we begin our Summer Camps in June. There are still some spots available if your dancer wants to have fun dancing with us this summer! See our Summer page for more info, schedules, and registration info.

Our studio is full of life this spring, with preparations for our end-of-season recital performances! Even in the midst of all that is happening, we are looking forward to next fall and making plans for classes and special events for the 2026-27 dance season. The registration schedule for the 2026-27 Dance Season is as follows:
  • ALL students interested in taking dance classes with us next fall - Registration is OPEN.
  • Dancers who want to join the RDT Ballet Company or Movement Collective - Registration is OPEN for auditions on May 2.

Each year the PrePro Company casts a wonderful production that includes all its own members, plus RDT Ballet Company members, TYSOD open school dancers, and guest performers. This year's production features original choreography that tells the beloved story of Alice's adventures in Wonderland. With enthralling dancing, glittering costumes, and magical sets, Alice in Wonderland promises the fun and entertainment audience patrons have come to expect from RDT's well-trained cast.

Due to take the stage at City Springs' Byers Theatre the day after Thanksgiving, this year's production is underway! The RDT Company dancers began rehearsing their lead and corps roles in August. The cast now also includes all the younger open school dancers from TYSOD who bring extra joy and magic to the stage with their performances.

[vc_row css_animation="" row_type="row" use_row_as_full_screen_section="no" type="full_width" angled_section="no" text_align="left" background_image_as_pattern="without_pattern"][vc_column][vc_column_text css=""]Roswell Dance Theatre kicked off the new dance and performance season with the annual Hugs From Young Choreographers showcase and fundraiser on September 6-7. Top-level dancers from the Roswell Dance Theatre presented original choreographic works for this very special event and welcomed audiences for the wonderful dancing combined with a a fun event with other RDT dance families at the reception. Three performances benefit a charity selected by the choreographers. This year, the dancers used their time and athletic abilities to raise money for Blessings In A Backpack, a nonprofit organization that mobilizes communities, individuals, and resources to provide food on the weekends for school-aged children across America who might otherwise go hungry.
