Lending a helping hand, raising funds for a community in need, or connecting one-on-one to sign an autograph for an aspiring ballerina, our dancers share their time and their hearts with our community.
Dancer-Initiated Events
Our dancers are members of many charitable organizations and often invite their fellow dance families to donate time or goods to specific causes. The spirit of philanthropy that begins with our HUGS event is carried into other efforts each year.
School-Initiated Events
Tolbert Yilmaz School of Dance and Roswell Dance Theatre offer FREE performances at many festivals, street fairs and community events. For over 25 years, our themed float has been an award-winner in the Roswell Youth Day Parade each October. Another annual favorite performance is the Roswell Arts Festival in September.
Community-Initiated Events
Invite us! Our dancers love to perform and are members of many service organizations. They are available to perform in exchange for service hours. If you would like to add dance entertainment to your event, please contact us to discuss the details.
Studio-Wide Holiday Tradition
For over 30 years, the studio has conducted a Christmas Angel program for the families of Coalmont, TN. Nancy Tolbert Yilmaz’s mother was raised in this small coal-mining town, and the dance families have generously supported this very large effort to bring Christmas to over 600 residents of Coalmont.
Special Programs for Girl Scout Troops
Earn a Badge, Add a Patch. We offer a Badge and a Patch program — two great ways to enjoy dance!
BADGE PROGRAM: Girl Scouts will earn their badge by watching a rehearsal of our current show at Tolbert Yilmaz School of Dance, then learn a little choreography. Cost for the workshop is $20. We will hold this event in November for The Nutcracker and in March for Cinderella. Space is very limited, make your reservations early!

Each troop in attendance must have a minimum of one adult chaperone registered. $20 per scout, $5 per adult participants
PATCH PROGRAM: Attend a performance and get a patch. Each Girl Scout ticket includes a seat and a commemorative patch. Select any performance time and enjoy a great event for your scouts.

Tickets available online OR call the theater box office at 770-206-2022 to purchase discounted tickets for groups of 10+ (5% off 10-24 tickets, 10% off 25 or more). After purchasing tickets, use our online form to reserve your commemorative Roswell Dance Theatre dance patches, to be picked up at the theater before the performance.
