Jonah Hooper

Originally from the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, Jonah studied at the Gainesville Ballet under Diane Callihan and spent two years as an apprentice with Louisville Ballet. He then joined the Atlanta Ballet, dancing a variety of memorable principal roles including Michael Pink’s The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Dracula, and Romeo & Juliet; Stanton Welch’s Madame Butterfly; and John McFall and Laurie Stallings’ The Great Gatsby. Other memorable shows include Jorden Morris’ Moulin Rouge, John McFall’s Don Quixote, Helen Pickett’s Petal and Prayer of Touch (world premiere), Gina Patterson’s Quietly Walking (world premiere), Ohad Nahrin’s Minus 16, and Alexander Eckmann’s Cacti.
