Each spring, RDT’s Movement Collective (MoCo) produces a stage presentation that showcases the artistry of contemporary and commercial dance styles, highlights the talents of the MoCo dancers, and promotes company membership. From mastering the stage to understanding the creative process across Broadway, background dancing, and Film/TV, this process serves as a launchpad for their future success.

For 2025, we are thrilled to present I Wanna Dance With Somebody: A Tribute to Whitney Houston—a dazzling showcase of choreographic works set to the iconic music of the legendary Whitney Houston. Under the direction of Gia Mongell Binner, alongside an incredible lineup of guest choreographers, MoCo dancers will transport audiences straight to the heart of the 1980s, bringing Houston’s unforgettable sound to life in an inspiring and electrifying production that will leave you cheering, celebrating, and in awe of these incredible young performers.
