This year MoCo will showcase their dancing and acting talents in an intriguing re-telling of the creation story of the villain Cruella DeVil. The original choreography and character portrayal combined with fantastic costuming will draw audiences into the intriguing world of the famous orphan-turned-fashion mogul.

Each year the PrePro Company casts a wonderful production that includes all its own members, plus RDT Ballet Company members, TYSOD open school dancers, and guest performers. This year's production features original choreography that tells the beloved story of Alice's adventures in Wonderland. With enthralling dancing, glittering costumes, and magical sets, Alice in Wonderland promises the fun and entertainment audience patrons have come to expect from RDT's well-trained cast.

[vc_row css_animation="" row_type="row" use_row_as_full_screen_section="no" type="full_width" angled_section="no" text_align="left" background_image_as_pattern="without_pattern"][vc_column][vc_column_text css=""]Tolbert Yilmaz School of Dance held a very successful audition on Sept 13 for roles in Roswell Dance Theatre's upcoming 2025 production of The Nutcracker. Due to take the stage at City Springs' Byers Theatre the day after Thanksgiving, this year's production is underway! The RDT Company dancers began rehearsing their lead and corps roles in August. The cast now also includes all the younger open school dancers from TYSOD who bring extra joy and magic to the stage with their performances.

Top-level dancers from the Roswell Dance Theatre presented original choreographic works for this very special event and welcomed audiences for the wonderful dancing combined with a a fun event with other RDT dance families at the reception. Three performances benefit a charity selected by the choreographers. This year, the dancers used their time and athletic abilities to raise money for Blessings In A Backpack, a nonprofit organization that mobilizes communities, individuals, and resources to provide food on the weekends for school-aged children across America who might otherwise go hungry.

Our studio is full of life this spring, with preparations for three springs shows and many other exciting performances! Even in the midst of all that is happening, we are looking forward to next fall and making plans for classes and special events for the 2025-26 dance season. The registration schedule for the 2025-26 Season of Dance is as follows:
  • Current students who will be returning next fall - Registration is OPEN.
  • Students who will be new students at our studio next fall - Registration opens March 25 at 9am.
  • Dancers who want to join the RDT Ballet Company - Registration is OPEN for auditions on March 28 (evening).
  • Dancers who want to join the RDT Movement Collective - Registration is OPEN for auditions on March 30.

This year's production features original choreography that tells the beloved story of the mermaid princess Ariel's adventures. With enthralling dancing, glittering costumes, and magical sets, The Little Mermaid promises the fun and entertainment audience patrons have come to expect from RDT's well-trained cast.
