Open auditions for Roswell Dance Theatre Ballet and Modern Companies were held on Saturday April 30, 2022.

Ballet Company Audition
Must be age 10 by September 1, 2022
Ballet Audition Dress Code: black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes or pointe shoes
The Ballet Company is designed for dancers who are serious about their commitment to dance training. RDT’s Ballet Audition determines acceptance into the company as well as placement in the appropriate level. Ballet Company levels include the Preparatory Dance Program (PDP) through Level 14. Results of the audition are made available to all dancers within 4 weeks of the audition.
The PreProfessional Company is an additional company within the Roswell Dance Theatre. Dancers who have completed at least one year in the Ballet Company (not including PDP) are eligible to be considered for the PrePro. Students are observed and evaluated throughout the year. Acceptance into PrePro is by invitation and PrePro results are posted along with Company results.

Modern Company Audition
Must be age 10 by September 1, 2022
Modern Audition Dress Code: black leotard, black or pink footless tights
The Modern Company provides intense training for dancers who choose to focus on aspects of modern and contemporary dance. RDT’s Modern Audition determines acceptance into the company as well as placement in the appropriate level. Modern Company has three levels: Junior, Senior, and Principal.

AUDITION RESULTS
Results of all company auditions are made available to dancers on June 1, 2022.
June 15, 2022: Company Contracts and Membership Fees Due
June 15 – July 1: Company Contracts and Membership Fees still accepted – late fee of $100 will be assessed.
**If the Company Contracts and Membership Fees are not received by July 1, 2022, the offer to participate in any company is revoked including participation in The Nutcracker.**
