We know how to SPARKLE!

We know how to SPARKLE!

Dancers from the Roswell Dance Theatre/Tolbert Yilmaz School of Dance participated in the second annual Sparkle Parade held at the City Springs complex in Sandy Springs this past Sunday evening.

Just inside the entrance to the parade route, RDT’s Clara, Fritz, the Nutcracker, and Sugarplum waved to the drive-by crowds from atop a beautiful Nutcracker float sparkling with lights. Our characters were flanked on the ground by RDT and TYSOD dancers, who greeted participants with fun dance choreography.

The parade kicked off at 5:30 and ran over the scheduled two hours, as City Springs tried to accommodate all the cars lined up to witness the holiday festivities. In addition to the amazing floats, cars drove through falling “snow,” heard live music, and saw joyful dancing all along the route. Also in attendance were Santa and Rudolph, the Grinch, a band of pirates, and even a few Star Wars characters! Great job RDT/TYSOD dancers – Happy Holidays to all!
