18 Sep HUGS 2020 Weekend is a Success

Congratulations to all dancers who performed at the annual Hugs From Young Choreographers showcase and fundraiser!  Members of the Roswell Dance Theatre worked for months creating all-new works for this very special event, held Sept. 11-13.

This year’s health and safety restrictions presented the choreographers, casts, and event organizers with many challenges, but creativity, flexibility, and determination made HUGS 2020 possible in our new on-site performance space. Audiences at all four shows respected the social distancing and other precautions in place at TYSOD, and the weekend was a great success.

The online silent auction, along with many personal donations, raised funds for the Roswell Dance Theatre Dance Relief Fund. Thank you to all who participated, both in-person and virtually – your support is deeply appreciated.
