Nutcracker 2020 a HUGE success!

Faced with the unending challenges of 2020, Roswell Dance Theatre set to work on it’s annual Nutcracker production in August. Health and safety protocols required a significant re-working of the holiday tradition, so RDT choreographers, designers, directors, and dancers pulled out all the stops to make the show a reality.

After months of rehearsals and construction, the company took to the stage in their new black box performance space and presented 18 shows to live (socially distanced) audiences, half of which were also livestreamed near and far. Families who had not seen a live performance in many months delighted to see their dancers perform, and those who opted out of holiday travel still had a way to see the amazing production.
